• Have a network based on Microsoft Windows.
• Have 8 or more computers in a network.
• Have dedicated Internet access.

First We Will ANALYZE

• Analyze your current firewall. You’d be surprised to learn how many ISP’s do Default installations that leave their clients wide open to anyone on the Internet!
• Are you taking advantage of technology that blocks unwanted junk e-mail and access to questionable web sites?
• Is your anti-virus protection deployed on every computer and at every weak spot? Your own computers could be causing cross-contamination on your network.
• Do you have a reliable and tested backup and disaster recovery strategy? The worst time to find out if your backup tapes work is when you really need them!
• Analyze your un-interruptible power supplies to see if they cleanly shut down your critical servers when power is lost and the batteries are drained.
• Check to see if all user work is being saved on the server. The default location for “My documents” is on the users hard disk – bad news if the computer crashes.
• For some of the more sophisticated users with special purpose programs and settings, can their computers be restored from a snapshot created earlier?
